We were responsible for the lookbook’s conceptual and editorial design. The focus is firmly on the Daughters of Reykjavík and Iceland’s stunning landscapes. We intentionally decided against using an urban backdrop. The glasses become an authentic accessory.
Lifestyle photographer Florian Schüppel was able to capture the essence of the outlandish rappers perfectly. The idea behind the project was conceived by editor Nina Piatscheck, who also wrote the accompanying texts.
Let the beat control your glasses
In addition to the lookbook, we worked with videographer Jim Gramming to produce a video clip and several teasers, and applied a graphic design style that suited the video down to the ground. Hard cuts paired with rapid typography animation go hand in hand with the beats laid down by the Daughters of Reykjavík.
